Instead of working, it locks up the entire browser and I have to Kill it in Task Manager. Just today, my bank, TCF Bank, changed everything with their website and now it doesn't work in Waterfox Classic. (I must say that Chromium is generally very satisfactory - the Ungoogled version by Marmaduke, for the most suspicious -) - and if I have to ditch my favourite browser that might be my actual choice)īit by bit, Waterfox Classic gets closer and closer to holding only one appealing thing for me: letting me enjoy all of my extensions. Let's face the truth: sooner or later, we'll have to switch to something else, be it Current, FFQ, etc. Luckily, the websites I'm using are not giving me any issues, but there's definitely one thing that I regret: Alex's decision for not porting TLS 1.3 to Classic - considering that TFF now allows it under PowerPCs! :-o
HOW TO IDENTIFY CURRENT VERSION OF FIREFOX PASSWORD
(and I haven't found another password manager that satisfies me)Ī dilemma that I still haven't resolved, hence my staying with the Classic version (plus the many old extensions) for the time being.

If I wan't to use FFQ or WTF Current, I need to switch to 1P6 or more recent and lose it in many of the Chromium based browsers I use, as they are considered "not safe" by AgileBits. I'm sort of trapped mainly because of my addiction to 1Password: to this day v4 allows the use of WTF Classic, Safari, Chromium, and any Chromium based browser, but not FFQ or WTF Current.

I'm rather the "ok, let's look forward!" type, but indeed the differences between Waterfox Current and Firefox Quantum are not as meaningful to me as they were with Waterfox Classic. As many of us, I think, I switched to Waterfox (Classic) years ago because of old extensions and classic look and it's still my favourite browser.
